**We cannot control the conditions in which our customers incubate the eggs they receive from us. For this reason we do not take responsibility for poor hatch rates and DO NOT offer refunds on eggs that do not develop or do not hatch.**

Egg orders shipped via Standard Priority Mail come with $50 of insurance. Deer Run Farm does NOT assume responsibility for damages to egg orders shipped via Standard Priority Mail. Customers who select Standard Priority Mail to ship their eggs are welcome to file a claim with the USPS. For best results on a claim approval, it will be NECESSARY for customers to supply the USPS with photo evidence of the damages. We understand that the $50 of insurance may not cover the entire cost of your order. For this reason we ask customers to REQUEST additional insurance in the comment section when placing your order.

Egg orders shipped via Priority Mail EXPRESS come with $100 of insurance. Any damaged eggs upon arrival will be considered for a refund, replacement or credit to the customer's account once an insurance claim filed by Deer Run Farm is approved with the USPS. Customers must provide evidence of damages upon arrival including the label on the box and the box with damages for the claim process. We understand that $100 of insurance may not cover your entire order. For this reason we ask customers to REQUEST additional insurance in the comment section during check out.

We offer our hatching eggs by the dozen ONLY and have a minimum order requirement of one dozen for both shipped orders and orders for pick up. Breeds can be mixed and matched, but must meet these quantity and minimum requirements to place an order.

Our eggs are collected daily and all orders are filled with the freshest eggs possible. Orders will be filled based on the date that's selected by the customer at check out. Shipped orders will ship the date that is selected unless we reach out to you otherwise. Orders for pick up will be contacted on the date that is selected so that we can schedule a pick up with you for the rest of that week. We do not schedule pick ups on Tuesdays.

Shipped orders are securely packed in foam egg shippers and sent via USPS priority or priority express. Boxes are clearly marked as FRAGILE and indicates live embryos on the box. Shipped eggs are no more than 3 days old at the time of shipping.
